The paper deals with expressiveness as a genre characteristic of Statements Outstanding Universal Value (SOUV) World Heritage Sites, which is one the major documents accompanying famous project UNESCO. stylistic analysis corpus SOUVs, available at UNESCO website, has revealed that under consideration determined by their communicative tasks, consist in informing international community about existence unique objects, describing properties and convincing target group high universal value. study shown main expressive means are epithets, have been classified depending on contextual semantics into epithets characterize uniqueness, significance, aesthetics sites. dominant identified, including ‘outstanding’ ‘unique’ first group, ‘universal’, ‘significant’, ‘important’ second one, ‘beauty’ ‘beautiful’ third group. Their synonyms identified along actualize core lexicon documents. technique accentuates lexical units recurrency. It used both within single document across entire statements. functions recurrency include Recurrency serves representing outstanding value Sites. Moreover, this found to determine process standardizing SOUVs’ expressiveness, creating combination standard documentation. In addition, vocabulary contributes coherence SOUVs.
